Mission-ready, the Global 7000 business jet combines an exceptional high speed cruise with remarkable short-field performance, linking cities and continents faster than ever before. With a maximum operating speed of Mach 0.925, the Global 7000 jet boasts an exceptionally high-speed cruise capable of operating at altitudes of up to 51,000 ft (15,545 m) that opens up new routes, destinations and opportunities for its travelers. It will be powered by the next-generation General Electirc 20 16,500 lbf (73 kN) thrust engine to deliver efficiency and emissions advantages,expected to show reduced NOx emissions and an eight per cent increase in overall fuel efficiency when compared to the industry leading Global Express XRS aircraft. It is planned to be able to fly from London to Kuala Lumpur, New York to Dubai, or Beijing to Washington non-stop with 10 passengers. Entry into service is scheduled for 2018.

Bombardier is also building The Global 8000, planned to be able to fly farther than any other existing business jet, will feature a three-zone 2,236 cu.ft. (63.32 cu.m.) cabin and a range of 7,900 nmi (14,631 km) at Mach 0.85. It will also be powered by the next-generation GE Passport 20 16,500 lbf (73 kN) thrust engine. It is planned to be able to connect Sydney to Los Angeles, Hong Kong to New York, and Mumbai to New York non-stop with eight passengers, and to reach a high-speed cruise of Mach 0.90. Entry into service is scheduled for 2019
